Awards Ceremony

We have plenty to celebrate - the awards ceremony is Monday, November 21 @ 7 p.m. in the Rose. Team members, please wear shirt and tie (suit or sport coat is optional).

Post Season Awards

The Greater Kansas City Cross Country Coaches Association has announced some of its post-season awards, including All Metro team and finalists for the rest. For the Kansas City Missouri boys side (all 4 classes) the following have been named and will be recognized at Aquinas on 11/20 @ 6 p.m. Any are welcome:

I will post the Meet and Pre-season practice schedules here for a couple of weeks. It will end up on the Schedule tab. I did make a few slight adjustments to both so please take a look. Please not that the day/date of Awards Ceremony has been corrected. It will be on Monday, 11/21. Apologies for the confusion.

Track & Field

Next Week

Friday and Saturday: April 21-22 KU Relays in Lawrence, KS at Rock Chalk Park. The athletes attaining will only be those with accepted qualifying marks.

Monday: Lee's Summit High School Triangular starting at 3:30pm at LS High School.

Thursday: Olathe East JV Meet at Olathe East High School starting at 3:45pm. 


This Week

Monday: Lee's Summit North Quad at LSN High School starting at 3:30pm. 

Tuesday: Raytown South JV Invitational at Ray South High School starting at 3:30pm.

Friday: There will be no practice because of Good Friday.

Saturday: All levels have practice from 10am-12:30pm.  


Welcome to the 2017 Season

Athletes will need a completed physical before participating in track and field which can be found under the athletic tab on Athletes will need a signed syllabus (by themselves and a parent/guardian) before they can compete in a meet. Athletes will further need a $75 deposit for their uniforms (as long as they are returned in good condition to Coach Day by the 6/1 that check will be shedded).

Syllabus and Forms

Please click on the following Team Syllabus in order to print off, sign, and turn into the coaching staff before our spring break. There is a MSHSAA form that needs to be completed which is on the website under the athletics tab. Also, each student athlete needs a physical turned in the Dean's Office by the start of the season in order to practice with the team. If you have already participated in Rockhurst Athletics during this school year, then you do not need to obtain a new physical.
